Dear Volunteers,
On behalf of Nunda Township Road District Staff, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who volunteered their time and effort to assist with sandbagging.
Because of your dedication and hard work, we were able to successfully fill over 80,000 sandbags. This was no small task, and it simply would not have been possible without your support.
We truly appreciate your commitment to helping the community during this time. Your willingness to step up and contribute makes a meaningful difference, and we are grateful for each and every one of you.
Thank you!

Dear Nunda Residents,
Over the past week, our community has shown extraordinary strength. Neighbors, volunteers, and friends came together in a moment of crisis, working side by side to protect our homes and each other. Because of that unity, Nunda has weathered a challenge none of us will soon forget.
As we move into the final stages of recovery, the Nunda Road District will begin removing more than 90,000 sandbags placed throughout our neighborhoods. This is a major undertaking, and we want to make the process as smooth and efficient as possible.
When you feel comfortable and it is safe to do so, we ask that you move sandbags from your private property to the edge of the roadway. Our road crews will collect and dispose of them properly. If you are unable to move the bags yourself, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a neighbor—and if you are able, please lend a hand to those who may need assistance. The same spirit that helped us protect our community will help us restore it.
Together, we have already accomplished so much. Now, by continuing to support one another, we can clear the final remnants of this tragedy and place it firmly in our rearview mirror.
We are deeply grateful for your resilience, your cooperation, and your unwavering community spirit.
With appreciation,
Rob Parrish and The Nunda Road Crew
